As a mis-placed Kentuckian, Dove settled into Greenfield, IN with her husband and two sons. She soon discovered and fell in love with a Miniature Horse. Having grown up with the larger horses, Dove felt that a Mini would be perfect for her small family on the two acres of ground they had. Well, one became two, which soon became four, and before she and her husband knew it, they had a growing herd of minis on a larger farm which had 'his' and 'her' barns. We founded Dove's Minicamelot LLC in 1996. Our goal was, and remains to be today, to produce show quality miniature horses. We have a select herd of AMHA registered brood mares and AMHA registered, chosen stallions that continue to produce outstanding foals. We also maintain a small number of 'pet quality' horses for those who wish to have a miniature horse, but are not interested in showing. Our bloodlines include Stout's, King's Minibits, Sweetwater's, Del Terras, Estes, Van Huttenest, and Bond Snippet among others. We also place a strong emphasis on 'attitude', and we strive to breed horses that are 'people' friendly. Several of our foals have gone to therapeutic centers to work within their programs. Dove's Minicamelot continues to promote the American Miniature Horse through out the State of Indiana, both thru local and regional shows, and many local demonstrations. But most importantly, we try to promote the fun and enjoyment these fine creatures can bring into your life.
